WELCOME TO COMPETITION #7

RULES 1. Create a character sheet based on the template provided, creature a picture, give your creature/character a name/race, description, environment and describe its special skills etc, here is the template:- 
2. You can choose to make it old style RPG, futuristic, steampunk etc its up to you but please stick generally to the template  Heres a quick example I made:-
3. Only "1" final submission can be submitted into the final entries thread but feel free to post works in progress in this thread or ask questions etc!! 4. The "final entries" thread will be created closer to the deadline!! DEADLINE = DECEMBER 7th 2007 THATS IT, GOOD LUCK!! _________________

Awesome, would love to have a go, but being a TOTAL NOOB, it is daunting. Do you have any tips for the character drawing, I have a few ideas for characters them selves, just need to be able to draw them

For the drawing of the character, it could just be the face (front/side) or a silhouette, close up of face/weapon etc..doesn't have to be a full length figure as such!!
Also the borders are there as a guide, feel free to go over the edges etc with your designs, no need to keep em totally square so to speak!! And as usual it will be judged on effort/ideas/having a go and not entirely on your 2D/3D skills as the books are aimed at people who want to learn more about digital art...not da pro's who know all that stuff already _________________

Cant see it, link worked though
Nice fire effect, dont forget the panels are just a guide/template so you can go over the edges if you want, maybe have the flames overlapping the bottom edges as if rising past the border....using the smudge tool maybe _________________

Yes, still much to do on it. I was thinking of pulling the picture border in a little actually and have my character pulling it's self out if you get what I mean..... I am pretty sure this will be beyond my ability, but what the hell you have to have the idea to try it eh!
Is there a dead line for entries?? I may get mine finished by December 2010.. Oh, how do you get pictures into this forum, I used the [img] tags and it wont show..  |

Work wont let me FTP out to my server so I use a dummy blog to put pix and stuff up when I am there.... Guess I should be working he..  |

No, Eagles' not the first girl on the forums, we've had a few but you just didn't know it or it was before 2005 when you decided to grace us with your presence
I made my first site back in 2000 (ish) and have had some form or other of forums since then... _________________
